Jean-Simon Trottier began studying glass in 1998 in Espace Verre, Quebec. Once his studies completed in 2002, he went to refine his art in France, at the C.I.R.V.A. (Marseille) and then in Frédéric and Allain Guillot studios (Dordogne).
Since this time, Jean-Simon works with many established canadian glass artists.
Over the years, he has made several specialization workshops with, among others, Karen Wilenbrink, Kenny Piepers, Ross Richmond and Stephen Paul Day.
His passion for glass, combined with his sensitivity and technical approach of this material led him to work in collaboration with many glass artists and designers.
He exhibited his work in many galeries troughout Canada and abroad.
He keeps on creating and teaches glassblowing in Espace Verre since 2011.
